Thanks Fredrick Van Eden!

There is a place deep within the subconscious where one rules his worlds as the king he so desires to be. This land is one of the imaginary that we humans dream across our sleep. Somewhere around 1880 writer/psychiatrist Fredrick van Eden coined this reoccurring phenomenon as lucid dreaming. A lucid dream is any dream in which one is aware they are dreaming. In a lucid dream, the dreamer can exert some degree of control over their participation within the dream or be able to manipulate their imaginary experiences in the dream environment (1).

Lucidity Festival says, “When we become lucid in our dreams, we realize ourselves as infinite potential, we let go of fear, and we are free to create that which we want to see in the world.” The event invites its attendees to bring those visions, those possibilities and that delicious conscious energy with us to Lucidity so that we may be able to wake up in the dream (2).

Lucidity’s well-planned six festival series presents year two, The Totems’ Return and we at Sparkleberry Lane, are ecstatic to reinforce the festivals initiatives for our second year. The event features six levels of the totem; Playful Coyote, which teaches us how wisdom and folly go hand in hand, the Wise Owl healing sanctuary, Loving Dove’s ceremonial space devoted to music, art, and multimedia, the Wild Monkey who sees, speaks, or hears no evil, the Humble Tiger home to discussion and practice of the evolving warrior in each of us and the Courageous Dragon- a play place for children. Something for everybody! The opportunity to create your own totem also exists and you can do so by going here!

Woah, this video vVv is awesome!
