Festival Preview: Hulaween @ Spirit of the Suwanee
My heart swells as I prepare to head back to north Florida’s beautiful Spirit of the Suwanee Music Park and Campground. For the second year in a row The String Cheese Incident returns to this venue for their legendary Hulaween run.  Nestled in the heart of the Suwanee River Valley, the campgrounds truly are a sight for the dreamer’s eyes.   Spirit of the Suwanee is no stranger to amazing music.  They host multiple music festivals and concerts throughout the year.  Some festivals have been held there for 13+ years.  One great aspect of the festival grounds is that there is no “bad” place...

How many of the mentors placed in...

Aura’s grassroots promotion style has increased the number of attendees every year- it has outgrown its previous festival sites and will hopefully call Suwannee its permanent home. The decision to skip set up of Suwannee’s main stage ended up being a good one because it kept the...
Up Next: Aura 2013
Aura Music & Arts Festival makes a big move in its 4th year to the hallowed grounds of the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park. Last year Aura took place in Saint Cloud, FL which is slightly south of Orlando. The venue filled with peacocks and orange trees was great, but it was ill prepared for the Florida rainstorms. This year’s festival goers will be pleased to experience the many amenities that Suwannee, the premier music festival spot in all of Florida, has to offer. Aura might have made a significant change in terms of its location, but its lineup has...
