Save the Mermaids is a non profit dedicated to saving our seas by raising awareness and empowering others to reduce their use of plastic. The mermaids ran workshops throughout the weekend and performed in a pool with actual fins! On Saturday, we made a reusable shopping bag out of an old Spice Girls t-shirt and then shot an interview with these ocean goddesses on Sunday!

2.Cello Joe’s Peddle Powered Sound System

Cello Joe brought the beatbox grooves to a daytime set  on Sunday provided by Rock the Bike’s pedal powered sound system. Yay, clean energy for the win!

3.Conscious Breath Experience

Breath of Light Digital Art

Held at the Krinsha dome, Rabia Hayek led this workshop and left some Sparkleberries feeling their highest high from the weekend. This workshop focused on group breathing to bass drops from artists like Flux Pavilion. The class concluded emotionally by sending one’s love to another on the other side of the planet.

4.Puppet Parade

Everyberry loves a parade, especially when it’s led by puppets! Special thanks to Toni “Tone” Mikulka, a master puppeteer herself,  for this fun- rhythmic shot!

5. Ego Trip’s Sangria Party with Kaminanda

Strawberries? Check! Smokey quartz? Check! Kaminanda daytime set at Ego Trip?  Check, check and check!

6. The Healing Booth

Throughout the weekend healing was offered on a donation basis in all forms including, but not limited to, reiki, massage, and aromatherapy! Special thanks to Aimee Murphy and her transcendental touch.

7. Ron Jon’s Tea Lounge

Amongst masterpieces at Lucidity’s art gallery, Ron Jon served up more than just yummy herbs.   Look for Ron Jon brewing smiles and laughs at a heady festival near you!

8. Stroking the Shakti

Painting by Lucidity Live Artist Dela

Lisa Citore’s workshop charged the feminine being with tantric breath work and mula bandha exercises. The class tapped into the root chakra and gave participants an opportunity to ride their energy’s waves up and down the sushumna. Sorry boyz this was a ladies only workshop…

9. Michael *Divinity* Mannino at the Spin Cycle Stage

People were definitely asking who Michael Maninno was while he juiced his ripe beats on Saturday night at  the Spin Cycle Stage. Sparkleberries, near and far, bookmark this name for your next delicious tribal-endeavor.

10. Literature for Liberation

Raising awareness on topics like fracking and untouched indigenous tribes is a crucial element for a consciously-oriented festival.  Alex Chavbott, of Earth First! magazine, stood by his Literature for Liberation table all weekend and discussed pressing issues of our time with Lucidity’s attendees. Right on, Alex!
