2-3 Jalapenos                                           2 limes

Salt                                                              Love

Avocado Tree

Avocados not only provide a series of delicious meals for us to enjoy but they also give our bodies a nutritional boost. An Avocado provides, essentially, nearly 20 nutrients including fiber, Vitamin E, B Vitamins, and folic acid. Folic Acid is used to synthesize and repair DNA. Folic Acid also aids in rapid cell division and growth in infancy and pregnancy. Our bodies also need folic acid to produce healthy red blood cells and prevent anemia.

As of recently Avocados have become a staple ingredient in my life and one of my favorite ways to enjoy them is through a large scoop of mouthwatering guacamole. I can’t help but treat my friends and family to the delectable taste that comes along with these mashed up green jewels!

Step 1.  Peel back avocados, one by one, remove seed, and scoop the green yummy goodness into a large bowl.

Step 2. Use large fork or potato masher to mush up the green nutrients.

Step 3. Rinse of cilantro and chop stems and leaves finely. Make sure your cilantro is chopped, almost shredded small, before adding into your bowl.

Step 4. Dice up onion; add to mix, and then stir into bowl.

Step 5. Mince four large garlic gloves and add to mix.

Step 6. Dice and salt tomatoes and then add to mixture in bowl.

Step 7. Finley chop jalapenos and add to magnificent mixture happening in bowl.

Step 8. Add the juice of two limes for a final citrus blast.

Step 9. Stir everything completely and add, at your discretion, more salt, lime, jalapenos, or garlic!

Step 10. Serve chilled with tortilla chips, on tacos, or by spoon!

*I like to place my bowl in progress into the freezer throughout the process so that my guacamole is “eat ready” by the time all of the steps are complete!

If you love guacamole as much as my sister and I do, then you will be re-craving this recipe, all over again, at the end of every bowl!  Bon Apetite!
